Current Weather Conditions
Does anyone know if Tropical Storm Arthur caused any problems other than rain in Playa? We leave this Wednesday to head to PDC and it looks like they are calling for more the whole week we are there.
I really hope that we get some sunshine to enjoy. I would hate to be stuck in our room the whole time. |

This is from the General posts under Must Read.
Your question is understandable from the forecast Quote: The weather forecast for next week says all clouds. I'm worried I'm not going to be able to.... The weather here is quite variable. The weather forecasts shed very little light on what actually happens. They'll call for 7 days of clouds and we'll have a great week. It's the tropics - there's often a chance of rain, but most of the time the rain is short and sweet, and the sun is out again an hour later. Don't worry! We understand that you want nice weather, everyone does. Luckily, it's mostly nice here. No one can tell you what next week has in store for you. |

The sun came out a few minutes ago then retreated Arthur will be well out of the way by the time you arrive, but I can't tell you what's in store for you And if it does rain...shame on you for staying in your room |

You paid a lot of money for a vacation, therefore, you feel like the weather will be lousy? Kinda like dumb luck? Well...up until this past week, we haven't had significant rain since early March. So...this weather system will pass and another one will come in. Will this next weather system be wet or dry? I have no idea More than likely it will be very hot, very humid, very sunny and perhaps a brief afternoon or evening shower You'll have a great time....don't worry about it |

They lied to ya... we've had plenty of sunshine since last Wednesday and it's sunny as I type this. We've also had plenty of rain but after several months with very little rain, we needed it, and your vacation will probably be prettier (greenier, less dusty, and maybe even sunnier) because of it.
