Very ugly weather right now and it looks like it might get worse if that depression rolls in.

We are coming down for the first time in 2 weeks. I've been watching the weather and the rain seems like it is never going end. Do u see an end in sight? I know the weather reports r inaccurate most times so I'd love some true insight!

We are @ Club Yebo right now - rained REAL hard earlier. Appears to have let up a little. Any idea on how many inches or rain yesterday thru today - has to be a bunch. Maybe a reason why the jungle is green.

Actually got a great round of golf in yesterday at Bahia with one minor downpour that lasted 15 minutes. Luck I guess as it looked liked it was pouring everywhere else.

Orlando has been absolutely gorgeous for the past three days......but hot. Seems hotter than Playa to me. Actually in the past 14 days between Austin, TX, Panama City, FL and Orlando, have only had one day of rain. But flying back to Cancun/Playa this afternoon.
How is the weather today?

Yep - here's a photo from the beach at San Destin, Florida from last Tuesday. Beautiful week on the Redneck Riviera...

Weather Worries

Hi Guys,

Just wanted to know your honest opinion about the so called 'Rainy Season'. We were thinking of booking from the 8th Setember to the 22nd September but a work colleague has stated that is the worst time to go because of either the rain or the hurricaines. Is any of this true? Would be better to delay our holiday until October if so when in October. I know you can't guarantee the weather for us, but any general thoughts how the weather has been like for the last couple of years in September/October would a good guide. Don't want to come if its going to rain every day, not be caught up in any hurricanes either!

You're right....there is no guarantee, but the last few years we've gotten a good bit of rain in September. If you look at the chart, May is the driest month but we've gotten A LOT of rain this month.
You be the judge
