I heard that for the last five years, June has had very heavy rain fall. Didn't I read that there have been less than 6 days of sun in June with as much as 18 inches of rain fall for the month? I think it had something to do with global warming and the migration of sea turtles. That is why we decided to go in June this year. I just can't take all the sun shine here in Boston.
Weather threads are my favorite. |

Here's my advice/input....
1) Never go to weather.com -- it is always wrong. It showed 10 days of rain starting on May 24th (the day we arrived). We didn't have so much as a drop until very late on Thursday. It did rain on Friday but then cleared up in the afternoon. It rained on Saturday. That's because of the tropical storm. 2) there's nothing you can do about it and have to make the best of whatever happens. You'll be on vacation, away from work and stress with someone you love! I'm sure you'll find something to do! |

Hi everyone...I always try to look on the bright side of things so I am not going to worry until I get there...I will arrive early afternoon on this Wed. the 4th. Can you tell me what your local forcast is saying for the week ahead? I dont believe weather.com, they are always wrong for us here in Illinois!!! Also what is the weather tipically like after a tropical depression? Doesn't it usually clear up quickly after a hurricane? Thanks for any and all info...Only 2 days to go to our first beautiful vac. in MEXICO.
Thanks!! Amber |

I wish we could have more threads about people being concerned about the weather.
![]() Frankly, some of my favorite days in Playa are those when it rains or is cooler as then we actually have energy for going out in the evening. I find that if I lay out on the beach and drink beer all day in the hot sun, I am pretty cashed and mellow after dinner. But, if I am forced to stay inside during the day, I am ready to rage at night. Also, if you are in Playa with your significant other, bad weather during the day can result in more time for afternoon romance! ![]() ![]()
