prior to our April trip to Playa I checked the weather forecast and saw nothing but overcast & rain for the entire time of our stay. I had been warned on this site that just because it says rain doesn't necessarily mean it will be a wet day. The occasional overcast we had was welcome and we only saw a few raindrops.

Thanks for the input, I normally don't worry too much about it whatever the weather is you can not control it, but I am not familiar with how the weather usually is after a tropical depression, so I wanted to know what to expect on Wed the 4th when we arrive...Also wondering if there was any other storms brewing up? It's hard to get an accurate forcast here in Illinois.
If anyone knows any of the questions it would be helpful, Thanks!!

I know what you mean, I never check the weather at all prior to a trip to Mexico, but I am curious about the tropical depression over the area. I know nothing about that kind of weather being from the midwest and all.

Hey Cabinfever we are from the St. Louis area, and are leaving on the 4th looks like the same for you? I have been wanting to get away from all the rain we keep getting here, it's just silly how many days are full of rain here.
And Babaloo thanks for the local forcast

The current weather as of 8:30 a.m. is: temperature outside is 82.9 degrees with scattered clouds and some sunshine . I am not sure how the current weather will help you with the weather at the end of June.

It will be hot and humid. It will very likely be sunny most of the day, every day. You might be lucky and get a couple of overcast ones and maybe a brief torrential downpour or two. They are so cool in PDC, I think.

All in all, really, really nice.

The weather forecast for next week says all clouds. I'm worried I'm not going to be able to....
The weather here is quite variable. The weather forecasts shed very little light on what actually happens. They'll call for 7 days of clouds and we'll have a great week. It's the tropics - there's often a chance of rain, but most of the time the rain is short and sweet, and the sun is out again an hour later. Don't worry! We understand that you want nice weather, everyone does. Luckily, it's mostly nice here. No one can tell you what next week has in store for you.

I'm sure you are very excited for your vacation. I would be too, with less then a month to go. The above is posted in the announcements. The weather in Playa is lovely and most likely much better then what you are leaving. It's probably not neccesary to start a new weather thread every day. Maybe we can get Babaloo to resurrect his "Today's Weather" thread for the next month for you.

Morning everyone. Been down here since Saturday. The tropical storm did cause alot of rain, and some wind. So far it's been cloudy and rainy. Today we do see some sun, but still a lot of clouds. Hopefully the rest of the week will turn out great.
