Before we went in early May, I told my girlfriend NOT to look at the weather forecast, but it was too late, she had already looked, and was showing signs of worry... It had a forecast of like 30-50% chance of scattered thunderstorms for the ENTIRE 7 days we were there.

... I think it rained twice for like 20 minutes while we were there.

The short little showers were actually kind of nice.

Ahh we have the same problem.
My wife takes the weather forecast as gospel. She hasn't yet grasped the fact that one it is a forecast and two they aren't very good forecasts.
Cheers

It rains significantly less in Playa when compared to Wales.

Now if I go to Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwyll-llantysiliogogogoch on the 15th of August will it be raining?

Thanks that's the first time I've ever been called creative

Taken from our balcony overlooking Copacabana Beach last year.

As long as we can get a few ours of sun a day then that'll be fine.

Typically the weather in the UK is gonna be a scorcher, beginning the day we depart.

current weather conditions

Hi all, Can anyone who is in Playa at this very moment give me a quick report on the weather. I know all the basics, hot hot hot, but has there been a fair amount of rain the past few days or pretty clear humid? Thanks. Son arrives today. I was there this past April and it was freakishly windy! Just looking to see if it is August as usual

It really poured late last night (early this morning) but currently sunny and beautiful. Probably normal humidity for this time of year, i.e., somewhat high. Last night the weather was great - at Bad Boys not hot at all and a nice breeze off of the ocean. Today, BBQ on the beach at Zenzi and hardly a cloud in the sky!

I'm in Playa and it is hot and there have been a few showers, but overall it's beautiful! Last night it rained so hard water was coming in through the air conditioning unit. There was a great breeze at the beach all day yesterday!
