Hi all, I will be in Playa on the 14th for a week, so I need to know what the weather is like at the moment, its absolutely slinging it down here in the UK.

what it's doing now is not necessarily what it will be doing in 11 days...
We just finished with a nice tropical disturbance that rained on the tourists for 3-4 days...hopefully that's over with.

One the 14th? Probably HOT, HUMID, and sunny with some afternoon showers. You'll be thankful for those showers.

Since we seem to get a new thread started about every hour these days regarding the current weather, I'm going to make this one a sticky and I hope people will see it here at the top of the list. If you've got a weather question or comment, post it here. If you start a new post, a mod might move it here. Basic answer to all weather questions is, "Yep, it might rain, but probably not much."

I'll move all the recent ones here so you can see what's been said so far.

YAY!! Kind of like the Weather Channel. I think all you local residents should take turns and keep us updated on a regular basis throughout the day. Kind of like 'Local on the 8's'!!

Yep, we just came in from sitting on the beach for an hour or so... In a word: HOT! And in another word: STEAMY! And, though it's not the clear bright sun of a couple weeks ago, you could get a good burn out there I bet.
