We've been in a pattern of beautiful mornings and cloudy/rainy afternoons the past several days. Very hot and sunny as I type this. Sorry, no pictures; you'll just have to take my word for it.

I've been worried about the weather all day but only because I wanted Sandy to get on the plane, and SHE DID!!!!!

I cameback from paraiso beach on sunday, very very hot, only 1 night thunder and lightning, rained like mad!!!! quite enjoyed watching it with a margarita from my balcony

my hint would be for the 1st few days would be to use factor 40 sunscreen, we went 25 on first day and u could have cooked a steak on us in the evening

I have a bunch of 70 SPF sunscreen that I'm taking with me. I get burned taking out the trash.

I bought one of those SPF 50 swim shirts for snorkeling at Xel Ha. I have the feeling the all natural stuff just wouldn't cut it.

Hey guys! I have been to the Rivera Maya before and love it. However, that time my wife and I went to the Aventura Spa Palace in July. This year, my vacation in in mid-September and I am nervous about the weather. How is the weather in September? I understand it is still hot which is great for us. But I don't want it to rain all day long for the whole time we are there. Will we likely see good weather mixed with short bouts of heavy rain? Any input and advice would be appreciated. Thank you very much! B

just kidding - mostly
weather is great
small chance of hurricane
good chance of HOT and HUMID!!!
But then again, it's the weather ---- who knows?

I'v been here twice in September.....both times it tended to start off nice in the morning and cloud over in afternoon for a nice little thunder shower to cool things off. If you get up and find its nice out - head to the beach then as it might not be clear later in the day. Showers tended to be shortlived.

dont go with the wearther reports thats on tv, watched the weather guide when we were on holiday and it said rain with thunder and lightning every day, it did this once

have a great one, i would especially recommend cooling off with a strawberry margarita

and some popcorn ,well thats what we did in the afternoons just to get outa the heat, from scotland, whats heat

hmmm so here's a case and point example. Friend of our daughters has just called to say they've booked to come down on sunday but they're worried cuz all the weather networks say its gonna be cloudy and rainy the whole time!! They've packed sweaters and jeans and only 1 bathing suit

! Well, we're here right now and it has been endless HOT and humid - more breezy than I remember the summer's being but definately not sweater weather - take it out of your bag now!
Yes often cloudy and sometimes a shower or two but not as often as weather.com makes out. Its still hot when it rains!
Stop fretting whoever is worried.....nothing you can do about the weather anyway and you can still tan thru the cloud - you might be happy for it actually.
