You obviously don't now too much about English History. So maybe you should read a biography about her, and get a little more perspective about her. Elizabeth I was one of the longest ruling monarchs, and she was very well respected and loved by her court and subjects.
She may have done some things which would seem controversial during our present time, but she did a good job anyways. She brought her country out of dept, made a truce between her major religious groups. She was also able to keep relatively good control over her all male advisors, in which half either wanted to marry her or over throw her.
Some guys are afraid of powerful women. In my opinion powerful women are a turn on. Plus they have the money to buy me more big boys toys.
