ewww that's a little pricey for me. When we went to Costa Maya in 2005 on a cruise, we paid $30 per half hour per jetski. That's far more do-able for us. If GSP has the jetski's always sitting on the beach and no one is renting them, they might want to consider adjusting their prices and maybe they'll get rented more often. Of course, maybe they are rented and maybe they're not as pricey as Viva Wyndham.

We just got back from GSP, and we rented them. It was $65 for 30 minutes. I thought that was high!
Then, it happened. My 13 year old daughter bumped into her 15 year old friend. Barely!! Actually, her friend killed his motor so they wouldn't hit, and the waves carried him over into her. The man called them all in early. He wanted $100 per bike to pay for damages!!! Which was hardly a scratch, plus how do we know it wasn't already there? The friends dad was not happy. He said he cheated them out of time, and he wasn't paying that much. It wasn't pretty. We eventually paid $75 each. ![]() So be careful!!!! |

As a matter of interest when you hire a jet ski are you covered by any type of insurance in case you hit a snorkler or what ever and get stuck with huge medical bills or worse .
I find it amazing that people would pay that amount of money for 30 mins on a jet ski. |
