Room service at GRP/GSP

Hello all - I have searched and cannot find the answer to my question. I recall differing experiences with room service at Grand Riviera Princess/Grand Sunset Princess. The official website says that room service is only included with Platinum rooms so Junior Deluxe Suites have to pay for food ordered from room service. But I recall some people posting that it was free at all levels and some people posting it is not?

Can anyone give the current scoop on whether or not room service is included with the Junior Deluxe Suites? Thanks!

It's not included - only with the Platinum and Laguna suites.

Oh well, we will live without it I just want to make sure the kids aren't ordering up a bunch of room service

I don't think that there is even a menu in the room. I least I don't remember one.

There was a menu on the coffee table in the Deluxe Jr. Suite w/pool access. There was no price listed by the items. I did call the room service # on the phone. It was included for us, but we did not use it due to the fact we could find food we wanted in the restaurants and/or buffet. I don't know where they draw the line on room service being included. I saw an earlier post from one girl that said she was in a Deluxe Jr. Suite and by the time her club sandwich arrived it was cold and she still had to pay $40.00 for two sandwiches!!!???

Yeah, that is the confusion. Some people say they had room service with Junior Deluxe - some say they did not. I guess we will just have to wait and see what we get

The reason I am asking ... My kids love ordering room service on the cruise ships we have been on so they are wondering if they will get room service at the resort.

where you with Transit? I heard Transit guest go the free room service.
