I sent that video link out to a few friends and family members just after midnight this morning for Father's Day. This morning I received an email from a friend whose daughter was killed in a car accident, along with 2 of her 3 roommates--the 4th roommate is mentioned in the email, weeks after her 19th birthday. While the video made me cry, this note made me cry even harder:
char. . .I don't know how you managed to be the intermediary between Adrienne and her dad, but this song is the one the Rosettes danced to when they remembered her at their "04 spring show, the same song Rachel (the other of the four roommates) listens to when she wants to remember her friends, the one that always brings me to tears, today especially. I had asked Adrienne to let him know that she is still here, loving him, then I open this and here she is. Thank you for this beautiful gift . . . pam |
