Just got back from the Iberostar Lindo (which is right next to this resort) - the resort is great, the weather was wonderful. This is a great complex of Ibero resorts - the beach is really nice to.

Staying at the IB Beach, you get three ala carte dinner reservations for a seven night stay. Make all you ala carte reservations as soon as you get there.
Also make sure to visit the Commercial Center. They have some shops there. Also in the Commercial Center are the disco and a burger place, taco place, tapas place and ice cream and crepes place that are included in your stay. The tacos are wonderful there! |

IB Paraiso Beach
We were there the first week of May for 8 days. This was our 5th or 6th ? trip to PDC. BY far the BEST AI in Playa. If you want a cabana by the pool, get up early ( 6am) and throw your stuff on it. Building 31 is great, clost to the pool, the beach, resteraunt. Some have complained about the walking but the tram is regularly running. The nightly shows are great. The staff is wonderful, I'm sure you will have a great time~! We are going back in October and will be staying again

the resort itself is huge, there is a train type thing that runs round resort, too hot to walk![]() entertainment great our favourite was the movie show, brill laugh, 2 singers before the show starts are really good. The hotel shares with the Del Mar, the Lindo, Maya can use 'our' stuff , but its a large place so plenty to go round. beach is beautiful, jetskiing, parasailing, diving, snorkelling, free scuba lessons in pool. too hot in afternoon, retreated to bar for margaritas and popcorn .A la cartes- was told 3 a week, was told book some in morn and chances are when you go back in evening differnet person is on desk, true, so you can get more. Japanese=brillant show and geat food, Steakhouse, yum!!!! best steak ever, and I love steak, Gourmet, not our cup of tea, set menu, asparugus soup or mushrooms, like neither ![]() Staff excellent, gardens and rooms speechless!!! peacocks everywhere, they loved our balcony!!! seen turtles, parrots etc. shopping centre was ok, crepes at shopping centre were great,Went to cancun shopping, went to jewellery factory cant mind name of it offhand, WOW, im amazed i escaped so light, went to playa del carmen 5th avenue, what a length of street, plenty of shops, bars, eateries, excellent beach there. will add more later, but dont forget the cats at the steakhouse so so cute ![]() ![]() any info on how to add photos I shall be pleased to so so, overall this place was amazing and we are going back next year |

Thanks for the update portoboy! Sounds like you had a great time. Now I'm even more excited for our November trip. I'm sorry I can't help with the picture thing...that's something I need to learn as well. If you get it figured out, I'd love to see your pics. You guys sound like a lot of fun, and the IB sounds like a wonderful place.

I am thinking of going back and staying at the Lindo with a small group of friends. Besides the places above, and the lunch buffets, is there any type of "grill" near the pool where you can walk up and get burgers/quesidieas (sp?) and guac and chips -- stuff like that, or do you just have the buffet or Commercial Center options? I have a friend who is a very picky eater! Kim |

There is a large palapa at the pool by the walk to the beach that serves breakfast and lunch that we used almost everyday rather than getting dressed and walking back to the buffets. There is also a snack place on the beach. |

The beach grill is a small buffet and has burgers, grilled chicken, hot dogs, chips, salsa, quac, and they also had some fruit and other salad type of stuff. The other main buffet is right by the main pool, you can wear swimsuits (with cover up) and go in to that one as well. |
