If Russ is going to make tacos, you better be moving in with us for hourly therapy. Might have to stand on that left hand to get it going

I might have to leave that to you - I would hate to see a grown man cry. How are Batman and Robin.

Batman and Robin are fine ~ are you concerned about the children? Taco's fine, too.

AV 25 norte would be 4 blocks from AV 5 in my calculations.

They are some of the best in Playa right now.

Although if you want excellent pasta with shrimp I know of a good place to go.

Al, the crosstreets are only 10th and 20th on calle 34 so you could say its 2 blocks from 5th. 4 blocks would be confusing for us tourist types but I see your point too.

"brain" tacos?

My Lady wants to try some brain tacos when we are there. I can't remember the name for them.... Does anyone know where to get them? Has anyone enjoyed them? Should I tell my Lady that they don't make them in Playa so I don't have to try one too?

Take a look for Stewartg tacos thread here:
http://www.playa.info/playa-del-carm...p-colosio.html

They are called "Sesos" and you will find them in the non-touristy part of town.
You don't need to try them, ask for "Maciza" as I do.

It might be just me, but I love the shrimp tacos on Fusion.. In my (limited) experience I found the tacos slightly better during lunch (around noon) then during dinner.

I also tried "La Floresta" today and it was excellent! Tried the shrimp, fish and marlin tacos and it was very good! A plus is also that they costs 16 pesos each..

Think my next stop will be PG's since that is right around the corner from where I live.

(I seriously think I can live on shrimp tacos only, I just love it!)

Regards,
Dalle

Had GREAT SHRIMP tacos from the carts yesterday Am. 5 to be exact! I love them with the rice! Great sauces and 8 pesos each! Saw some Americans hanging back. They asked"Do you speak E-N-G-L-I-S-H?" "Is this safe?" I had to laugh at myself. Some years ago I was standing there with my AI bracelet, like them, asking the same questions Thank You PLAYA INFO!

Yucatanned - Please tell me how you ordered them. Did you have to order them in Spanish or did they understand some English? I so want to try the tacos from the carts, but I have to admint I'm scared they won't understand me and I'll be .

use your fingers

point to what you want. Hold up fingers for how many. Pay the young man at the side of the cart. Use the hot sauces sparingly. They can be spicy. I pour it on, but you may want to start off easy.

Sounds simple enough. I'm going to give it a shot!
