Acutally US nutella and European nutella do taste difference. The quality of the chocolate in most european countries is much better.

Thank you! Exactly what I was trying to "hint" at with reference to the mess Hersheys made of Cadbury chocolate.

I'm not sure, but they don't taste the same. I had a jar from Norway which was 10 times better then the stuff I can buy here.

According to Nutella.ca, Nutella in Canada is made in Canada and has been made here for 30 years.

A: NUTELLAŽ is made by Ferrero Canada Inc., which is headquartered in Toronto, Ontario and is a subsidiary of Ferrero International. Probably the stuff you buy in Mexico is made in the US, by the looks of this page. Check out the ingredients, which vary slightly from country to country - that maybe explains the taste differences.

Yeah, the US site says this:

Quote:
Where is Nutella made?
Nutella is made by Ferrero U.S.A., Inc., which is headquartered in Somerset, New
Jersey. Other manufacturing plants that produce Nutella are also located worldwide.
Oh, and THIS PAGE will tell you where you can buy it at home, Mariposita.

And is it just me, or is this shirt a wee bit naughty? I think I want it.

OMG! Not only do you show me the cutest, naughty T-shirt but recipes? Gracias. I wonder what kind of grinder would get the nuts to the point where the mixture is at least fairly smooth? No way will it be like the commercial form I guess, but close...and more Hazelnuts? An added bonus to home made! You're a gem
