Playacar Palace Resort

We stayed here from June 21st to the 29th 2008 and had a wonderful time. I sat around the pool while my wife went on the Tulum and Chichen Itza tours. The rooms are very nice and everyone working there was friendly and helpful. I was going to post some pictures but there all too large to put in the post. Rick

Trip report.
Succinct.
Ya know that Photobucket automatically downsizes the photos for you, right?

Consider it public service to do a proper trip report with pics. Pretty please...! We're going in Nov and now considering taking our kids. Please more info and pics!!!

Playacar Palace Resort

Here are some pictures of the resort. They have a Kids Club for kids I noticed. They have activites going on around the pool all day for kids and adults. We really enjoyed our 8 day stay here. I hope my attachment come through. Rick

Looks great from what I can see! Thanks for going to the trouble! Was there a bit of beach? We're not counting on it since we'll spend a day in Tulum and a day in Akumal, not to mention Playa's beaches. Any details on the food?

Send me a email address and I'll send you the picture in there normal size. I'm not really understanding how to use this photobucket to put my pictures on the thread. My email address is richard.zimmerman (at) diebold.com.

Not so much!

I did my best to fix the images, they were all run together and pushed the page wayyyy over to the right. I tried to put them one on top of the other, however some were entered incorrectly (nothing I can do about that) which resulted in no image, and some are duplicates photos. I just did what I could to get them to display properly but can't help fix anything else.

Thanks Zimmer for taking the trouble to do that!!!

Loved to see that tiny little bit of beach...hope it's still there in Nov, but not counting on it. It looks so good! BTW, did you guys do any of the tours and trips offered by the Palace? Just wondering if they are any good. I would rather do Yukatreks, but the budgets is squeaking!

We've now decided to take our kids. This trip was supposed to be a 20th anniversary "alone" trip, but we have no other family vacation planned (or $$ for one), and we both want to share so much of the cool stuff we'll see in Playa with the kids. Besides, I might like a weekend away, but not 8 days. My step father had a bad fall and broke something in his neck last week, so coming to watch the kids is pretty much out of the question and has made up our minds for us. Now I'm REALLY excited!

Thanks Shammy! I was hoping someone would pop in to fix that to make them easier to see.
