water temperature

Anxiously awaiting our trip to Playa (16 days and counting). My friends tell me that the ocean is not very warm this time of year. Is this accurate? Please advise. Thanks

The Caribbean Sea is warm all year round. The water is warmer in the summer when it's hotter, but it's very nice in the winter as well and never cold.
