I called around 6 and spoke to Carmita. They are open Mon-Sat from around 9-1 and then from 5-8. I emailed her at igdelcarmen@ gmail.com. Hope this helps! Congrats!

thanks.
I find it best when I call 9am local to their time. But isn't your wedding coordinator doing it for you? They would probably be best at handling it.

Thanks for the info everyone .. I should have joined this forum when I started planning my wedding .. everyone is so helpful.

I have total faith in my wedding planner to handle it but we talked with our priest last week and he scared me (something about all wedding planners are only in for the money and a cute chapel on the beach sounds too good to be true) and he asked that we get confirmation ourselves that we are booked. That's the only reason why I'm calling/email them.

I'm already stressed with so many other wedding issues ... this just adds to it.

Funny I wanted to hire a wedding coordinator because I had so much trouble communicating with the church initially and wasn't sure if they were getting my emails and my deposits. However after inquiring around the prices for the wedding coordinator were way out of my budget so I just decided to be more persistent and so far it has worked. Good luck to you and all best in your planning!

Can anyone explain the situation on 5th and Juarez where this chapel is located?

Looking into different transportation and some companies say they cannot enter this area and have to drop us off a block away and some others say they can.

I remember getting dropped here most times

How far is that to the chapel?

very close........just walk on 5th till you get to Juarez intersection...you will see the Ado bus station ahead to your left, and the chapel on your right towards the ocean [before the intersection]...approximately 3-5 minute walk.

Does anyone know how hot it gets in there? They tell me they have A/C and it seats 75-80 people. I have 80 guests so we are packing it to the max. Ceremony is 3:30p.

Also how long does it take to get from XCaret Hotel to there around that time. I hear there is construction along the highway so it takes longer than usual. Just trying to plan out when our transportation should pick us up.

Thanks

I hear you man. When I reserved my buses through this site I told them the wrong location. They didn't catch the mistake. Lucky the other place where I got my limo, LOMAS, verified exactly where I was supposed to be.

Anyway this is the CHAPEL on 5th and Juarez

And this is the CHURCH a few blocks away at 15th Avenue and 12th Street

Help

I am trying to plan a wedding at the SMALL chapel: Chapel of Nuestra Seņora del Carmen on the Caribbean Sea. Does anyone know the address of this chapel?? Also contact info would be great. I am confused if the previous posts are discussing the large church or the small chapel. I am trying to arrange from a different state! HELP! Any information would be great (resorts nearby, priest name, etc).

Not sure what the confusion is. I stated the CHAPEL is on 5th and Juarez and the CHURCH is 15th Avenue and 12th Street.

Contact info is the same for BOTH the chapel and the church as listed in previous posts.

The confussion was because the picture listed in the previous post as the CHAPEL was the same picture as the CHURCH on another web site. Thank You.
Do you know of any nice but inexpensive resorts near the chapel?
Thanks

There are a lot of all-inclusives reasonably close to the chapel - inexpensive?
Do you have a budget?
There are also a lot of hotels in easy walking distance

My fiance and I do have a budget. But, we are looking for an inexpensive all-inclusive resort and transportation to the church for our guests. Thanks
