Wow, glad to see people still enjoy our trip report. We had a great time and would return to the resort.

Thanks! We went back last year for our anniversary. It was just the two of us - no kids, no parents, no siblings. The resort has definitely grown but the service, food and facility is still excellent. The resort is now overrun by coatis (which I've never seen before). Sort of like raccoons with longer snouts.

Also in Playa del Carmen, the shop owners are very aggressive now. LOTS of begging for you to come into their shops. Also, they sometimes lie and say they were your waiter at whatever resort you're staying at (they recognize your bracelet). Don't fall for it.

Otherwise, enjoy! Mexico is still beautiful, the food is delicious and the people are (mostly) amazing!
