All I have to say about this is that an hour ago, we had a power surge that caused the blaring burglar alarm to go off in the Sol distribution office that is across the street from my house and OMFG it is still going off. I have a feeling this is going to go on all freaking day and I will go insane, cut off my ear, and move to the South of France.

Someone save me.

Yes, people know. The trucks were just out blaring stuff from the giant speakers. But it's just a tropical storm. We're putting away the stuff sitting in the yard, stocking up on the booze, and calling it a day.

*Dudes, that MFing alarm is STILL going off.

With the giant speakers and the alarm going off as well as a tropical storm coming, you are really having a bad day.

Doesn't a MFing alarm qualify as a reason to find a good, quiet, alarmless bar to spend the storm at?

Stay dry and safe everyone.

The alarm is starting to sound like two layers of loud voices.

I see dead people.

In case you were wondering, the alarm is still going off. And now it is saying, "Heddoe, heddoe, heddoe" and "what-up, what-up, what-up."

We talked to the man in the beer store attached to the distributor's office, he said nonchalantly, "Yeah, I reported it."

Really effective burglar alarm, it has been going off for over 3 hours now and no one has come and no one cares. There is an ADT sticker on the building, for show I presume. There are probably three guys in there right now robbing them blind. I hope there are, at this point.

My niece and her husband(just got married May) just moved into their new house in Corpus Christi, Texas. Their house is only 5 blocks from the beach. Looking at pictures, looks like Dolly will only effect south Texas. We sure could use some rain here in San Antonio. Maybe it will work into south Texas and head west into northern Mexico, then winds will bring it back towards San Antonio, and we can get rain that way. That's what happens sometimes. We are all thinking of you who live in Playa, and also the lucky one's on vacation there. Take care, and don't party too muchwish we were there. Hopefully 2009....

It's just a little rain and wind, folks. No worries.

Of course, I AM heavily fortified on mimosas at present, so that might be affecting my thinking.
