When I was 16 my parents wanted to buy me a new Honda. No way was I driving a girl car. I found a 68 convertable Camaro, black with a white rag top 327. Saleman walks up behind me and says "girls will get in with there pantys off" I was sold!! My parents not so much, ended up with a 52 chevy stepside that apparently had no affect on panty's

Me a girly girl, Horizon? bite your tongue.
I simply don't 'get' the car thing, when men are totally rabid about it. But each to their own.

That Challenger is cool, but my Cavalier, now that is one cool car.

(okay, yeah, I don't truly think that, no.)

In high school my BF taught me how to drive in a car that looks like this. I think it was a GTO. Can't remember what it was, but it was a standard and it was one of those racing type shifts. FAST car! He must have really loved me to let me ruin his clutch!

He also had a green camaro ('69) that was an automatic and I much preferred driving that! (His father owned a dealership).

Back in '70, my friend's dad had a Hemi-Challenger.
I remember the huge doors, they must have been 8 feet long.

I think these are a few years too late.
3 years ago, I prolly would have got the Challenger.

How did you guess!?

no, just a Darwin fish plate, and several scratches badly covered up by touch-up that doesn't match. Really sweet ride.

I am wondering what the production numbers are going to be on these models. Due to the current econimic situation it could be limited

Same thing for me except the Camaro I had my eye on was a 69 SS 396 four speed. I ended up with a 63 Biscayne Chevy. That Camaro today would proabably be worth at least 10 times what it was selling for back then.

Never was into the vette's. After the Biscayne I got into Mopars and got to be a pretty good mechanic out of necessity.

Loved my Mopar! My first car was a 69 Dodge Coronet 440. I ran the snot outta that thing. Had to wait until my 40's to afford my dream car (avatar).

All those American cars look like updated old designs to me... I too thought the Camero was another version of the mustang....

With Mindbender on this one, I like speed and handling plus style and low weight...Monte knows what I mean!
