Suggestions on travel agencies?

Hola !
I'm planning on traveling to Playa in November for my honeymoon. Neither I nor my fiance have ever been to Mexico. I have "won" 3 days 2 nights for Viva Azteca. But no airfare , so does anyone have any suggestions on travel agencies that I should go to? I figured if I go through a agency, they might be able to save me some money.

Thanks for the tips and advice in advance.

If you live near a Funjet departure city, check their flight schedule at http://www.funjet.com/ for possible charter flights. We were thrilled to get a charter-- i.e., NON-STOP-- flight to Cancun recently. It had been so long since I'd flown without a transfer at some stupid hub, I'd forgotten that plane travel could be relaxing!

Also, if you live in a hub city such as Charlotte or Atlanta, you may be able to get a direct flight through an airline that uses that hub. The price will probably be best, too.

Any local agency should be able to find you a good deal on airfare. Check prices first at http://www.expedia.com or http://www.travelocity.com/ , and you'll know if the price is good or not. You may even find the best deals on Expedia-- I have, more than once.

Have fun!

agencies

MsRosey- I am using Tropical Sands Vacations and so far, (I'm going in Nov.)they are great. I am an absolute bargain hunter so believe me when I tell you I have done my research and they by far had the best prices. My second choice was Funjet but Tropical Sands won me out in the end b/c the price was lower. I think if you go to their website, tropicalsands.com and type in some info. they will send you a quick quote immediately after. Good luck w/ your search!! Oh yeah, since we'll both be in PDC in November, perhaps we could meet up for a drink or something. I am so excited & can not wait to just be there-I have been waiting for almost 6 months and dreaming of how much fun it's going to be!!

Thanks Coral Reef and Memomuffin for the suggestions

Memomuffin~
I would love to meet up for some drinks, but first I have to find a way down there. It turns out my "free" trip was not so free after all so . (Just for ya's info, NEVER again will I use Spirit Incentives. They're a bunch of rip-offs!!!)
So not only do I have to find a way down there I also need to find a place to stay. Any suggestions on any good AI's I've done alot of research on Viva Azteca. But was hoping to find something alittle more inexpensive if that's possible. But I am not willing to go cheap on the quality of hotel though. Please help!

~Starting to get really desperate. I really need a Vacation NOW if ever!

I am going down to PDC in November for honeymoon. I too, was amazed at the cost of flights to Cancun from NYC. I have been watching the fares for 4 months now (on every site imaginable). I do see pretty decent hotel/air deals but 99% are with AI's. We wanted a hotel in town so we were basically on our own with airfare. I read about Intratours here, and checked them out. I have R/T on AA for $200 less per person than the AA site and they are non-stop flights. I would check all the sites out there including the airline sites for Air/Hotel packages as you said you were interested in AI. If not, I recommend IntraTours for the lowest fare (although still too high in my opinion) to Cancun.
