How are the beaches in front of the Reef Playacar now?

I've heard some varying stories about the beach in front of the Reef Playacar, where we're staying for 2 weeks from Monday.

Anybody here that know how the beach in front of the hotel is right now? Perhaps even have some pictures?

We were there in May and have a few pics of the beach. When we were there the beach was nice with plenty of loungers. It can’t compare to the beach up north, which is where we spent more of our time, but it was nice.

I took a 360 video of the IB* Quetzal and Tucan beach @ playacar last week when on holiday, not sure the location of the Reef but it might give you an idea.
I walked up and down the beaches, if you look past the sand bags the beaches are still fantastic , crystal clear !!
