MN Peeps - Our band has left the basement

Hi all you MN peeps. Well after playing basement jams and a few private parties, our band, "The Al Segno Blues Band", has been asked to play a gig at the Minneapolis Eagles Club. Many of the better local blues artists play this club, so we feel honored that they asked us to play there. We're really excited. We've played their small room twice but now we've been asked to play the main room. Since I've missed all of the other MN Peep meets for various reasons, this would give me a chance to meet some of you. We play Saturday, August 2nd starting at 8:00 pm. Put on your dancin' shoes and have some fun. Hope some of you can make it. The Minneapolis Eagles Club is located at 2507 East 25th Street in Minneapolis.

Guessing the Minneapolis Eagles Club must almost be a next door neighbor to Arbys there on Lake Street. If I'm not in Sturgis that weekend, I'll make it a point to come by and check your band out. Always have a giant appetite for anything bluesy!!

Last weekend, I did a bar crawl in that very neighborhood... starting out at El Nuevo Rodeo, Hexagon, and working my way west to La Bodega, Country Bar, Herkimer, and a few others.

That'd be great if you can make it. The Eagles is about 5 blocks north of Lake Street. Be sure to introduce yourself if you can make it. Maybe we can turn this into a mini-peep meet? Sure hope other Peeps can make it.
