...because I've been away for so long!
I'm Michelle...still sorta "new" to the forum as I only registered at the beginning of '06, but I had the opportunity to meet many of you at Shammy's Peep Meet at La Ranita back in April '06.
I live in Virginia with my hubby, Adam, and our two children, Malia (my forum name suddenly makes sense, huh??) & Aidan. I work part-time waiting tables at Captain George's which is a local seafood buffet. I love my job...sometimes. Right now I am about 3/4 finished with a Masters in Early Childhood Education...grad school classes and work are both filling my time right now.
I can't believe I have been away from this forum for as long as I have...what was it...like a good month??
In all honesty, I did suffer from some serious post-Playa depression after our vacation. And, besides, that whole thing called REAL LIFE sorta took over...kids, waiting tables, GRAD school...ugh.
Needless to say, I think I need another break in Playa! We will be back in Mexico in March...but we'll be in Cancun for 10 days. Adam, my hubby, and I are going to be in Playa for a few of those days, though...without a doubt. Right now we're trying to figure out whether we can swing a Playa trip sometime before the end of this year (Shammy, oh, Shammy!!!).
Anyway...it's good to be back. I tried logging on last night but the forum was down...I nearly went into convulsions because I had been away for too long. It's good to be back.
