It's a great place! Can you ask some more specific questions about it so we can perhaps give you some more specific answers?

Yes, more specific questions would be good and you can also do a search, there should be some info here on that resort.

We stayed there in 2005 when it was transitioning from Sunscape to Dreams.

I was pregnant at the time so we enjoyed the seclusion. We liked the lack of towel cards, wrist bands, and a la carte reservations and limits. The beach is rocky but you can walk forever in either direction and find nicer stretches. If you're looking for action or nightlife, this probably isn't the place for you. However, we did enjoy it enough that my brother is heading there on his honeymoon one week from today. BTW, he booked through Shammy!

Yes, it's me! You were so great with our trip to The Royal last year, that I knew my brother would be in good hands with you. He'll always be my little brother, but it is wonderful to see him in love like this. She still has NO IDEA where they are going on their honeymoon. Isn't that romantic?

In the morning, we're flying to Oregon for his wedding. I'm afraid that is taking up a bit of our travel budget, but still let me know if you find any outstanding deals...I'm getting the itch to head back to Playa. Any insight on the CRT conversion to adults only? That beach was absolutely stunning.

Unfortunately both words in the resort name give a lot of false hits. If there's a way to get the search engine to focus in on Dreams Tulum, I haven't figured it out yet...

added - NEVER MIND! turns out if you put it in as +dreams +tulum it requires both words and you focus on what you want. D'oh

I just sent brother an e mail to check on him.

CRT will be free of kids after 12/15. The go adults only earlier but are honoring bookings with children through 12/15. Not sure what other changes will be in store, if they will up the price to reflect it being adults only but yes, the beach is very nice. WON'T be up to the standards of the Royal, but shouldn't cost as much either.

Well...that can only be determined by the person going there. It's doesn't get more remote than Dreams Tulum - it's the last resort IN Riviera Maya so the only thing it's close to IS Tulum.
