Watching the news coverage now.Looks like only minor damage.A lot of aftershocks,24 so far.Not the big one but a good shake.

So who would notice? Isn't kind of difficult to differentiate between an earthquake, and just a normal LA day with the DT's?

I was chastised for calling Dolly a hurricane (well it actually became one but only after crossing the Yucatan).
I'm sure LA natives feel the same way about a mag 5 earthquake, not fun, but certainly not MAJOR.

I just read about it on the news here in Norway. They told pictures were falling from the walls.

I was in the SanFrancisco "Big One" in 1989.

Wowza... will never, ever forget that feeling.
