Oh ABSOLUTELY NOT. See just two weeks ago I was at a Poison concert here in Atlanta. Yes......we Christians still love big haired 80's rock bands. Well, I was all out of money but wanted ONE MORE BEER. Suddenly I looked down and there was a $10 bill laying at my feet. Guess how much the beers were at the concert??? Yep, you guessed it. $10! See, God didn't want me to go thirsty that night.
Coiencidence? I think not.

Second, we must recognize that God has given the government the authority to determine when capital punishment is due (Genesis 9:6; Romans 13:1-7). It is unbiblical to claim that God opposes the death penalty in all instances. Christians should never rejoice when the death penalty is employed, but at the same time, Christians should not fight against the government’s right to execute the perpetrators of the most evil of crimes.
Not so sure I want the gov't to think that god has given them the right to do as they please, they seem to think they have that right as it is!! Also would depend on which gov't we are talking about. I can think of a few instances where gov't has killed people thinking they are right and the rest of the world thinks differently. Luckily for this guy, he is safe as we don't not have the death penalty here is Canada. If he is as sick as he appears to be, I think he is living in his own personal hell already. If he was on drugs, again, living in his own hell once he came off his high and realized what he has done. Riss, there was something on the news lately about teens dying from taking ecstasy as it is being laced with meth. I think it was in Red Deer, can't recall at the moment. If that is the case, could explain his actions, not forgive, but at least explain the personality change. |

Yeah, not very Christian of me to not put my beer down and help them but I was too busy laughing my butt off. But honestly it was a great show. Poison was really cool. I'd love to see Def Leppard too.
