Very true!

I have seen several of those little humpers. For some it doesn't seem to 'take'.

My one male cat has been fixed since he was 6 months or so, and he is 8 or so now.

He still will go up the fridge, turn around, and act like he is 'spraying' (tail up and quivering) but nothing comes out....very odd.

It's the memories....

A couple of our girl dogs will hump each other.

It's more of a dominance thing...I think.

That's exactly it... Snickers has been fixed, but whenever Freckles takes one of his toys, he "shows her" a thing or two and I snort and say,"Snickers, knock it off" and he hops down... I tell him if he really wants to impress us with his dominant manly self, then walk up and TAKE the toy...

The girls (the two labs) will go at it until Dave yells at them. They don't listen to me. It is usually Lilith that mounts Selena. Selena will either stand there or if she is in a crappy mood, she will collapse and Lilth falls on top of her.

My cat will do that, I think it's just instinct or whatever they don't get that they can't spray.

yup, it's terminal. Just got a text from J. Primary site was the lungs, as suspected, and it's also in the lymph nodes.

63 is way too young to die.

as is any age, younger than about 90, IMO.
