I opened one of those cans of bisquits that you're supposed to peel the paper off of until they open at the seam by themselves... they make me nervous anyway and now I know why... when I opened it yesterday it opened so fast and with such force--ka-POW!!-- that it broke a blood vessel in my finger... holy crap, that hurt

then I got bit by fireants on my foot while pulling weeds...

random thought- anyone ever make Kraft Dinner salad, man is it good! High cal, indeed, but we are having a bunch of people over for a BBQ tomorrow night and I am going to to make it tonight for them.

make the Kraft Dinner according to directions but without the butter and milk, then mix together 1/2 cup of Miracle Whip, about 2 cups of chopped green onion/cucumber/tomatoes/celery and dill pickles, and 1 tablespoon of vinegar. Yummy.

Man, no wonder I always put on weight in the summer.

Just the plain ole August long weekend up here. We're going to the lake to spearfish some jackfish for supper (okay, Don will ) and do some scuba diving with Don's sister and her husband (this lake is crystal clear and they have a sunken boat and dive bell, kinda cool but it sure aint' the ocean! )
