My wife always smells the water glasses when we go to a restaurant, if it smells like raw eggs than we are out of there. Now I do it

Why would it?

Why don't they sell 6-packs and 12-packs of soft drinks in Mexico?

Went to Tai Chi class Monday evening. Instructor said, "There will be a class next Monday, even though it's the long weekend." I said, "Long weekend?, Oh yeah...long weekend." Everybody looked at me like I was mentally challenged and from Mars. Hey, when you're retired, every day is pretty much like every other day. Please don't hate me.

Okay, this is kind of random. I keep reading about all these "heat deaths" in the states where people are dying in their homes without air conditioning. One place mentioned is Denver, which just broke a record by recording temps of 90 or above for 19 days in a row. I can't imagine they have the kind of humidity to go with that that we do down here. And almost no one who lives here has/uses air-conditioning. So... why aren't we all dead? Is it just acclimatization?

I think they are mostly older sickly people who die, and they blame it on the heat......the humidity might be what saves you all, a dry extreme heat might lead to dehydration and a quicker death in an older or unhealthy person? So thank your lucky stars it's hot AND humid? My dos pesos.
