Last night I picked up my Siamese cat and he obviously didn't want me to. After I sat him down I was bragging about how he always retracts his claws and never scratches me, and is always so nice. He was sitting beside me and all the sudden lashed out, caught my thumb and ripped a three inch laceration down the side of it. After that he "huffed" and growled at me.

So, I left him alone until this morning. I patted his head like I always do and he threatened me by exposing his very lethal looking teeth and hissing.

finally this afternoon he is back to his usual self I think... he sat beside me for a while without threatening me and allowed me to pet him without threats of violence.
