Home sweet home! Unpacked, laundry in the works, sorting bills, doling out vacation trinkets to friends. My fabulous Dad cut my grass, front and back, so there go my Sunday plans! Guess it's gonna have to margaritas and catching up with friends? Good thing I took Monday off too! Vacation rules.

welcome home.

I did a bunch of pots for my mom here at her place yesterday, and then left them outside....woke up to snow ...but it didn't go below freezing and they are okay. Whew. Stupid spring weather.

Just clipped a sprig of lilacs. They were in full bloom last week and are now starting to wilt, but I told my friends to come and get some while I was gone so at least someone got to enjoy them.

Weird question: I ordered something from Sephora over a month ago and when it hadn't arrived, I called customer service before I left for vacation. They said since I'd chosen US mail over UPS, that it was harder to track and most likely lost in the mail. They said they would reship my order UPS at no charge since my card had already been charged. Well, the US mail one came while I was on vacation and I just found the UPS package outside my door today. Am I supposed to send one of the orders back?

Lilacs are starting to bloom here too!

I think I will go out and smell them, do a little yardwork. I seem to be misunderstood lately.

I feel bad keeping both orders, but it wasn't my fault, right?

Well...see....technically, you wouldn't be "keeping" both......you would be "gifting" one to me
I know, I know, I'm going to Sephora hell in a handbasket.

My ancient stereo just went kaput. The cd door will not close and it has been acting funny lately. Got my tiny ipod speaker hooked up, but I think it might be time to get an updated sound system. I'm attached to this old one because it still has a turn table and I play lots of albums.

True. I like having old stuff because it's overlooked when you get robbed.

Yeah, we keep our place like this.

We figure we're safe. Anybody breaks in, they'll be glad to escape alive, let alone take anything with them.

I think this just shows that this person has A LOT of extra money. There's gotta be $5000.00 worth of fast food there!
