I have to say Stephens and Mogs' sound better than mine!

I put tomatoes and cucumber and red onion and crumbled Feta and those big purple olives- Kalamata I guess they are...

I also put lettuce in mine. Not every time, but tonight I will.

And I don't make dressing from scratch. I use that Kraft olive oil Greek dressing. Or sometimes Renees!

No- but I sure could have used it today!! My right index finger is STILL almost totally numb....it was over an hour ago I emptied two cans in a row.

You can put the cucumbers on a paper towel and salt them a little to draw the water out of them.

With any vinaigrette you need a little sugar, not to make it sweet but to cut down on the tart, maybe a 1/4 tsp or so.

Wanna come live with me for a few weeks, teach me to be as good a chef as you sound like you are?

My mom makes a lovely dressing, just oil and vinegar and sugar!

Yeah...I probably screwed up on the spelling. I gave must haves...and cukes are big too. The dressing is an art form. I was lucky to have gone to school and lived for a while in NYC. Astoria Queens is the USA capital of Greek cuisine imo, but the village also some super places. I'm spoiled and picky when it comes to the food. We have a great local community of transplants who have brought the tradition from the big apple. I don't want to talk about this any more....now I want some goodies...

I think the two most popular ethnic restaurants in Saskatoon are Chinese and Greek. I love both.

Nothing beats a good stifado.

Can't hurt to check. I had to spray a whole bucket load of manzanita for wedding decorations (you string white lights on them) and my finger was KILLING me!!! This invention would have come in handy.

Anyhoo, I saw some chick on an HGTV show using this to spray a huge floor mirror and it seemed to work great........good even spray, etc.
