As to getting used to putting them in, well I dont really remember, it was 30 years ago. I would assume that its not really natural to put something in your eye so it probably takes some getting used to. I can do it now with no mirror or anything, its second nature. One more thing, like you said, its better than wearing glasses!!!


I'm more worried about taking them out.

That is where I had trouble sometimes. I recommend putting in some saline drops or contact solution if your eyes are dry prior to trying to take them out. I used to...smoke a lot of pot, lol, and it dried my eyes out. I found it was hard to take them out unless I added in some moisture

Contacts aren't so bad, once you get used to them. I personally hated them, so I had Lasik
