A bit, yes. Thanks for asking.
Just work stuff. Had a long call with my manager this morning...and unbeknownst to me, two of senior management introduced themselves on the call a few minutes in. Long story short - people are leaving the company left and right, they're attempting to do some crowd/damage control, there's no end in sight for the workload issues, and they aren't going to ease on any of our management objectives or travel assignments. And they wouldn't give me a straight answer when I brought up [for the third time] family leave when baby comes in October. Luckily today is a home office day so I was able to open the door and play with the boys for a little bit to catch my breath and lower my blood pressure. |

Thanks for the good thoughts. Could be worse, of course, and I hate to crab. I'm going to go eat a bunch of double stuff oreos and milk for lunch right now though. Should help me feel a little better... ![]() Random thought: why even make regular stuff anymore when you can make double stuff?? |
