Mother left a message on my answering machine.

All she said was, "call me...it's not good news."

Of course her line has been busy for hours so I'm guessing the siblings or someone must be talking to her.

I hate making the call, but I will keep trying. I HATE the anxiety of dealing with someone close to me who is battling cancer. I HATE IT

Now that I got that out, I feel a little better. Thanks to whomever is going to read this.

I did. Love and support to you Mari. My dad died of cancer. It was very fast.
