What can you do? Book a trip to Mexico!
Yep, again, we're getting what you have about 36 hours later. They're saying it may be the most snow we've had this early in the season in over 20 years, with a potential actual blizzard this time with the winds they're predicting...

I'm completely serious here, but I'm kind of looking forward to the weather this weekend. It's when this crap keeps coming in March is when I get sick of it

You can take your coconuts and shov...

The squirrels are apparently still finding some kind of nuts in my backyard still. They are still very chubby too. Very healthy rodents we have

In February of this year, the strawberry farmers pumped out so much water from the local aquifer to coat the berries in ice to try to prevent them from damage that 100s of sinkholes popped up! It was REALLY terrible. People out in the country had their wells drained dry and many had their pumps burn up before they realized what was happening. Sure hope that we're not getting a repeat of all that.

Plant City Sinkholes

More Sinkholes

That being said ~ I'd rather be here in Tampa during the winter than Minnesota, Saskatchewan, or Connecticut ~ where I survived 20+ winters!
I wasn't aware of the sinkhole problems you mention.

You guys do get more snow than we do ....we have only had to shovel 3-4 times so far, and it has not been very much snow. That is one thing, at least. Colder here, but less snow. Not sure which is worse!

What I hate is when it warms up and there is black ice. I would rather NOT have any warming periods and then freezing again...one good thing about it being December, from now on the roads should be good , other than blizzards.

I don't mind winter. I just grit my teeth and get through it. I know that one day I will spend my worst winter months somewhere else, I can do it until then.

I do not know, but I would like to know which mod locked it and I think we deserve an explanation about why it was locked.

It's open again. Maybe it was just an error.

It's snowing here and we are having coffee watching it....it really is beautiful.....big fluffy flakes coming straight down. And the best part is, I have a hair appointment at noon and someone else is going to have to shovel it! The same someone who is presently making me French toast for brekkie. Ahhhh. It's good to be a woman.

Foodie

Spent the last 4 days baking macaroons, cherry almond biscotti and different types of oatmeal raisin cookies. Trying to avoid eating them all before I get them packed for presents. It's very difficult.

Wow! You've been busy. They don't tempt me one bit. I've learned to not have any feelings for items that contain gluten
