guilty!

Yesterday Don came home from ice fishing and I noticed he was wearing his old Polaris jacket from his snowmobiling days...back in the eighties. Bright blue and purple and white and black...gad, it's horrendous. I think the next time I go through the closets that sucker is going to be Sally Ann-bound.

Teen Suicide...

We awoke this morning to hear the news that one of my youngest son's best friends who is a girl committed suicide last night.

Our hearts are broken for her and him...He is with their circle of friends today.

She called him yesterday to go to see her, but he was in Fire Fighter training and couldn't go.

It has been a day of tears.....

That is very sad, especially for a young person to commit suicide.

How awful. I am sorry for your son. Tell him often it is not his fault. It is a normal part of the process to feel this way. "If only I... I could have... I should have..." Guilt is internalized very easily. Helplessness is much harder to accept.

My deepest sympathy to you in your time of helplessness as well.

I am simply sick.....My Luc left so quickly this morning, he left his facebook on. The messages and chat have been non-stop. I am replying to them, letting them know where to reach him, and to let them know that someone is at the other end if they need that....

I have also told them as well as the school that my home is open, if these kids need a place to gather....Full fridge & freezer- Just come and be together..

I am sick and heartbroken...

I am so sorry. A girl at our gym committed suicide just before Christmas. She worked at the front desk, and we always chatted. I had brought her back a present from France for her, and was stunned to hear this news. It's so sad (((HUGS))) for your son.

Thanks you guys....It has been a tough day, and the days ahead will be hard for the kids. A facebook page grew to almost 1000 in just a few hours.

But I didn't want to put a damper on this thread....

Is anyone watching Brad and the Babes gagfest???? You don't have to answer....It's sickening
