Just thinking that I do not like winter winds. 40 - 45 mph howlers are just horrible. Sounds like a train in your backyard. Always wondering if the huge sycamore tree will withstand the wind. Just want spring to get here now. Tired of winter here.

I grew up watching SNL - Jim Beluchi, Chevy, Jane Curtain, Gilda, Bill, - they were the best. My BF and I were cone heads one year for Halloween. Unfortunately, I was in a car accident Mischief Night, and was in the hospital on Halloween. My friend came to the hospital all cone headed out - "toss the ring upon my head". It was hilarious. The nurses were taking her around to all the other rooms.

Love it. Me too. Land shark was great. I still don't know why I think those skits were so funny...

I loved most all the years of SNL... maybe one or two here and there that were more lame than others, but there's usually something each season that is memorable... I have the book that came out for the 25th anniversary and I read it thinking, "Oh YEAH, that was funny" and "Oh YEAH, I forgot about that"

Those were classic SNL days. I loved the interviews with Dan Akroyd as a sleazy shop owner selling his homemade Halloween costumes for kids... a black garbage bag iwth black facepaint, they could go as 'Nighttime'.

Or his toys he made... Bag 'o' Glass...





I think watching those shows and Monty Python and Kids in the Hall and SCTV really warped me.

I was flipping channels and saw 10 minutes of According to Jim (ugh) and Dan Aykroyd and Lorraine Newman were guest starring... I didn't recognize her right away... although the characters' names were Danny and Lorraine... duh me...
