Just because some on posts a "fact" on a internet forum, blogs about it, or has a status on facebook about it - does not make it true.....just saying !

On the detached ones from what the sales person said, I think the association only covers the lawn, landscaping, snow removal and any common areas (like the entrance), but still that is a good question. I will make sure to ask if I decide to go through with it. Thanks.

I have not shoveled snow in many a year, but I think I could live the rest of my life without to much regret if I never did either again. Lot to be said for getting up on a weekend morning and having no chores!

We bitch about the weather here. It's what we do.

"It's raining too much!"

"It's not raining enough!"

"It only rains on the weekend!"

"It rains all week and I have cut the grass every weekend!"

"It's too wet... It's too hot... The rivers are too high to fish... The rivers are too low to fish..."

And so it goes.

But seriously, I'm sick of the rain.

It's the same here, but insert snow or cold for the rain during the winter.

And yes if I never had to run a snowblower again, I don't think it would bother me much.

Sleep in a raft just in case type rain. Pack an extra set of clothes, socks and shoes with you type rain. Just in case you need to walk across a parking lot in it. Every day... Every night... Rain. Forever.

The northwest has a saying. "You can tell a person from the PNW by the moss growing on the north side of their nose."

At least I do have them here with me.

Earlier I caught myself saying to Lenny, "Poor, sad Sue." And then I made it into a song and sang it for awhile. I've now turned on the TV just for the company of the noise.

He left this morning for NC. He doesn't know how long he will be gone. His mom might be dying.
