That is hilarious. He and his ball should be in the next Travelers commercial.

Wow!

I totally remember shrinky dinks. I also remember the metal outlines that you would fill in with tiny plastic bits and then you put the thing in the oven and it comes out like stained glass?

I am pretty sure I am older than you are Mercy, and I remember
Shrinky Dinks.

Anybody remember Creepy Crawlers? And that thing that shrunk a little square sheet of plastic plastic around a form like a racecar? (can't remember the name of that one, but it was a long time ago...)

I loved Creepy Crawlers. I burnt myself a hundred times at least. Kids today wouldn't be allowed to play with that. I don't remember the other thing you are referring to.

It is generally believed that production of the original Mattel Thingmakers was discontinued following consumer safety concerns over allowing children to use a small electric heater as a toy.[citation needed]

Well Shrinky Dinks were invented in 1973 and I was 16 then, so I don't think I was playing with Shrinky Dinks

I do however, remember the Creepy Crawlers, they came out in the 60's.
