Hey there "just" Uno!

It's been like that for me all week.

I'm heading to the gym after work today...going to get rid of all that bad stuff...

Eh, not the first, or last I imagine.

I like it better, we always just called you Uno too.

And who the heck likes mezcal? Ew!

Maybe I should change mine to just 'Riss'.

Two more days of work and a 3 day weekend! And, bonus, we don't have to travel anywhere and we already did our family Easter dinner last weekend, so it's all gloriously free time! Yay.

Riss is cool! Or Maggie! I think that's open too!

3 day weekend? Holiday?

Hopefully you have nice weather this weekend.

It's EASTER, dude!!

It is supposed to be getting a bit nicer.

Hubby is golfing Saturday. Friday we are going to spend doing yard work- cutting down dead perennials and removing mulches, raking the lawn, putting together our new lawn mower.

Friday night we are going out for his birthday dinner with some friends.

naw, you are good as StephenB. It's you!!

A GF stopped by last night with photos and stories from her trips to Venezuela, Belize, and Honduras.

Venezuela looks amazing. She spent time on Marguerita Island and did a 3 hour boat trip up the Orinoco to see Angel Falls. Just beautiful. and it's CHEAP there. She spent only $1200 in two weeks, airfare from here, hotels, food, tours, etc. It was five years ago, though. She went with another girl, they were 27 at the time, had no problems.

Oh, I thought you might be having a Canadian Holiday that I wasn't aware of!

You get time off for Easter? I don't think I have ever gotten time off for Easter (back when I was working). New lawnmower, cool! Is it a rider?

I don't know why we can't have turkey on Easter. It's always ham and keilbasa. Ham gets on my nerves.

A rider. We live in a town! Not enough lawn for a riding mower.

Nope, just a regular old gas push mower. Mulching, though! Our other one was about 15 years old and finally gave up the ghost.

You mean the US does not get stat holidays for Easter? We either have Good Friday or Easter Monday off here. Most places take the Friday.

It's a federal stat, so you either get the day off or you get paid overtime if you have to work it.

I love ham....but it has to be a proper baked ham, not a spiral or black forest 'pressed' type ham....yuck...Costco has good ones.

We had ham last Saturday AND again Sunday. And we had leftover ham on a croissant with old cheddar for dinner Tuesday....that was ham overload.

Speaking of which, it just occurred to me that I'll be 66 in June. That's 666! Here's hoping that next year isn't a whole lot more "interesting" than the last one.

'interesting' good or 'interesting' bad? I hope if it's the latter, that you are right!

I don't remember the last time I was like that ham either ....in my early twenties, I bet....
