I just made a new flavor of ice cream and it's AWESOME: Heath Bar hot fudge malt.

The base has:
2 cups cream
2/3 cup malt powder
1/4 tsp vanilla
1 cup half & half
3/4 cup sugar
pinch of salt
6 egg yolks

Then I made hot fudge sauce with bittersweet chocolate, butter, evaporated milk and sugar and added it to the ice cream while it was being churned, and then I added Heath Bar bits.

Holy cow!

I just noticed that I was one away from 6,000 posts on my last post.

Had to come "home" for this milestone.

Happy 6,000 to me!

Raylan is cooler than Seth. Seth seemed a bit of a wimp at times.

I expected Seth to blow Hearst's brains out, but then there would be no Hearst empire. He did kick Al Swearengen's (sic) ass.

Comcast cable TV charges 23.00 bucks a month for just the local channels, but you can get a digital converter box at Walmart for 30.00 bucks and those channels are free. Why would anybody pay money for what you can get for free?

Thinking of Maria Schriver.... I hate to see marriages break up due to infidelity. So sad. Whatever happened to "until death do we part"?

Random question here:

Most people bring alcohol out of Mexico.
I am wondering if anybody has imported alcohol/Beer to Mexico?

Cans or bottled beer is what I am considering bringing down.
Would like to bring my friends a beer or 2 from where we live. Thought that would be cool. : )

But I have never packed any cans in our suitcase; yes it would have to be in a checked bag.

So this is what I would do:
3 or 4 cans per gallon zip lock baggie, and then it goes into another zip lock.
I sure hope I don’t smell like beer all week…..

Think it will work???????

Yes I have taken beer into Mx. for a friend. A couple 22 oz bottles of good ale that can't be found there. Packed in my suitcase and wrapped in bubble pack. They were fine. They even had some fancy (Inspected by dept of Homeland Security) tape wrapped around them when I opened up the suit case. No worries.

I have also packed cans and bottles of local beer from different points in the USA to bring home. Your idea will work fine.

I've always had good luck packing booze. Coming home from our last trip though. I had a bottle of La Pinta Tequila "not make it" That was a stinky mess.
