Also, don't miss the Bellagio fountain at night. Of all of the spectacles of Vegas, this is one that truly lives up to all the hype.

Last bit of advice: get off the strip and spend an afternoon in downtown Vegas. Garish, kitschy, and lots of great people watching. It's a good, junky contrast after the weirdly beautiful, artificial sites of the strip. Vegas is such a strange place.

Agreed. I have stayed in most of the properties and the Mirage is a good choice. I don't think you will be swimming in March. We are going in a couple of weeks, staying downtown at the Golden Nugget. They treat us like royalty and we always end up getting the stay comped.

That Mexican restaurant looks good...and "right next to the canal".

I just wrote her and apparently the men got it wrong...we aren't necessarily staying at the Mirage, it will just a suggestion...we will stay 'wherever we get a good deal that also is nice and a good location', she says.

Definitely want to see the Bellagio fountain show. And we are going with the people who had their tenth anniverary vow renewal at the Vegas impersonators, remember this?

Almost the same entire group (the groom is the birthday boy, our best man, my bestie is his wife in purple) other than the guy on the far right who looks like he got hit with a shovel...his wife divorced him after he spent 5 grand at a strip club on this trip....

These people are T-R-O-U-B-L-E....this is going to be FUN!

I didn't think we'd be swimming much in March. Thanks Elaina!

I'm not much of a buffet person but...."when in Rome". I personally didn't think much of the Paris buffet but the Bilagio buffet is incredible.

No, I was not there, we didn't get to go on that trip....it was my GFs 40th (in purple) and we were very sad we didn't get to go....this March 2012 will be my first time in Vegas.

The tall blonde on the left is my friend Paula....she is 6 feet...Mogs you'd love her....and she is single.

And the hottie in red is my GF Jamie who is Tracey's sister (the one in purple)...those two and the cougar Jocelyn and I and the short brunette on the right, along with all our men, are all going to Vegas as well as a hot holiday sometime in February....maybe Playa, maybe Cuba...not sure.

The pretty girl in boots is the shovel faced guys hubby....he is a cousin of the girl in purple...they have since split.
