I called him up and I started SCREAMING at him. Not just about the shirt, but about everything. He had left a bag full of clothing of his own in the trunk of my car, and I told him if he didn't come and get it, I'd throw it in the trash.

He just came by and guess what he had also left here? The remotes to his a/c. He said he kept them here because PEOPLE WERE STAYING AT HIS PLACE AND HE DIDN'T WANT THEM TO USE IT. Because, that would be taking ADVANTAGE, right?

He started apologizing and I said, "It's over," and I shut the gate on him.

People who hang out nekkid know to carry a towel with them to put between their naked butt and the chair.

My foster granddaughter is 17. My son in law is a mild mannered, easy going guy that works at an insurance agency so he wears a suit to work each day. He shaves his head and does look a little mean.
All the boys that come around are strangely under the impression he is an under cover detective with a special forces military background. My daughter told them that and they are all scared shitless of him.

I asked my husband who is a pharmacist and he said that Tylenol or Ibuprophen will give her some relief. Also a humidifier is helpful. All you can do is treat the symptoms of croup because it is a viral infection.

That's a great recipe for carnitas Beer_Dude!

The carnitas came out very good! A tad salty, but other than that, it took care of my jonesing for carnitas. Next time, I won't add salt. The chipotles gave the dish a nice smoky flavor. I have never used chiles in adobo.

I didn't put put the meat in the oven. I just let the liquid reduce and let the meat kind of fry. I served them with corn tortillas, avocado slices, lime, shredded cabbage, cilantro and diced white onion.

When my daughter would bring a new boy over I always made sure I was either cleaning a pistol or sharpening some of my knives. Got there attention every time. My daughter also told them that her dad was not rational when it came to any boy not treating his little girl less than right.
Only had to follow thru one time and he has never been back to our door (and he better never show up again).

thank you Sol, yea hubby took the baby to the doc this morning because she has been running a fever since Sunday although not terribly high and this morning it spiked and she was labored breathing etc so doc said croup gave her steroids for a few days and we have to just comfort her, keep her upright when she is awake (as much as possible) and if her breathing becomes worse we have to take her to the ER

So sorry! It is hard to watch them try to breathe when they are going through this. I used to take my daughter into a steamy bathroom and sit with her 10 to 20 minutes or so. It seemed to give her some relief. Hope your baby feels better soon!
