Scared the hell out of us as we thought it was severe asthma or something and was worried she was in serious trouble.

Took her to the hospital and they gave her an injection that fixed her straight up...don't know what it was though sorry.

I'm sorry Mommy Dizz. I have spent more than one occasion holding a croupy baby/toddler on my lap while sitting on the toilet with the shower on full hot, making the bathroom a steam room. Like Sol said, a humidifier is huge. Acetaminophen for fever, Ibuprofen for pain. (Both help for both symptoms though.) I also learned to stagger doses as they can be taken together in full amounts. Give one type, then 3-4 hours later the other. That way she is getting some relief in between the 6-8 hour dose of a single kind. And a fever is a good thing. (It just needs to be controlled.) A fever is our way to turn the heat up and kill the bug. I have also made the runs to urgent care and the ER for what turned out to be not such an emergency. Better safe than sorry for the piece of mind that will help YOU sleep at night. (Or when you have time.)

Hugs to you.

No problem. I am sorry you are going through this. I hope your little girl gets to feeling better soon.

I wasted a lot of beer last week. Walk up and down hillsides toting a pack and a rifle all day, get back to camp and drink some beer. Pass out sore and tired 20 minutes later.

I will be more careful this week. Get up early for ESPN Gameday on Saturday then go back to bed. Get up before kickoff and make junkfood of some sort. Sit down to reserve my energy and drink beer. (And watch the game.)

I bought a six-pack of Deschute's Inversion. Have you tried it? It's good.

Yes.

The rule is: It must have a visible antler and not wearing orange. I didn't see anything that matched that. I saw over 100 deer that all had antlers (at first.) Some with orange hides. Always best to take a second look.

I like the Inversion IPA. (It will knock you down though.) The Mirror Pond Pale ale is similar but a bit more hops.
