Oh Kat.

Unfortunately aggressive behavior toward parents almost never go away once they start. You can't put yourself in danger and you have no backup when he does become aggressive. Hopefully this will help the process of aid for assisted living.

Thanks guys. I am feeling a bit better today as the headache is finally letting up.

I did talk with the city attorney who is prosecuting the case today and asked that it be moved to mental health court, so hopefully X will get some additional help.

I am focused on staying safe and doing what I can for X from a distance.

Oh Kat, you've done the right thing without a doubt.

I can only imagine how hard it was/is.

Be safe and heal.
Let the professionals provide the help that they can.
