I was stereotyping myself. Any harm from this has already been done.

No I didn't "officially" retire yet, but I practiced like hell at it for most of the summer....loved it....

I think the kid is getting married. That and the sucky economic climate is telling me it's probably not the time to totally quit just yet...

You open your everyday silverware drawer and there it is separated by group.
Which order is it in when you are looking at it left to right?

Mine: knives, forks, spoons
Why: I do not know.

ah, I see.

You 'think' he is getting married....he is about to propose, or what?

yeah, we'd be in trouble if we had to retire anytime soon....I am refusing to look at any of our retirement savings statements.

In the good news, though....hubby recently got a big promotion at work. He is now in charge of the entire fab shop at his company (before he was in charge of half of it). So if they decide to keep him and he decides he wants it, come February he will get a big bump in salary. Which is nice, but it is longer hours and more stress.....he will have to decide if it is worth it.

Mine from left to right- steak knives and paring knives, regular knives, forks, tablespoons, teaspoons on the bottom.

Not sure why either.

In the organizer, by compartment, from left to right: big spoons, knives, forks, forks. There is another compartment at the bottom where the small spoons go. Then, right of the organizer, there are the sharp knives, and below the organizer are all of our "chip clips."

Yes...he told me he is going to do it. We're happy about it-she is charming, well educated and seems to be perfect for him-they have been joined at the hip (and no doubt other parts) for about 8 months now. He's charming and romantic-just like his dad, so I know she will accept....

Nice!! That sounds good. Is he your only child?

David Paul Cronenberg, OC, FRSC (born March 15, 1943)[1] is a Canadian filmmaker, screenwriter and actor. He is one of the principal originators of what is commonly known as the body horror or venereal horror genre. This style of filmmaking explores people's fears of bodily transformation and infection. In his films, the psychological is typically intertwined with the physical. In the first half of his career, he explored these themes mostly through horror and science fiction, although his work has since expanded beyond these genres. He has been called "the most audacious and challenging narrative director in the English-speaking world."[2]

Quite the social scientist and expert on the effects of stereotyping, I see, but he is Canadian so he gets a pint for that.

I hear ya! I'm thankful for my company's "right to light" policy, where they designed our floor to maximize the light we all get by using lots of glass, and putting all the private offices on the interior.

I <heart> sun! But on the flipside of the sun, I have a strange spot growing that I need to get into the doc for soon
