2 of the women I work with and I are going to try out a new gym near work at lunch today. I'm hoping I like it.
Percocet made me feel like I was spinning even when I was laying flat on my back. I haven't taken it since. Ace's lab results came back. The tumor was mostly fatty tissue but the vet said there were some more aggressive fast growing cells. They are hopeful since it was encapsulated that it won't come back. If it does, they would want to do surgery again and then radiation. I really don't want to put her through radiation at her age so I'm praying it doesn't come back. |

Good for you.
I'm on day three, no cigarette. I haven't told anyone because I always feel like a loser if I fail to quit AGAIN. But, now I'm thinking I should post it here and on facebook. That way people who know me can give me crap if they see me smoking again. Pressure works for me. Yesterday I wanted to slap people, but today I feel okay. I'm getting the Nicorette gum for my "trigger" cravings. I have the damn Carr book and I know he doesn't believe in nicotine replacement, but cold turkey has failed for me too many times. |

If it makes you feel any better, I wanted to slap a couple of people at work yesterday and I'm not quitting smoking. (We have a few users who should not be allowed near a computer.)

More! I respond well to verbal abuse. ![]() 2012 is also the year I turn 40 (in September, but looming). I don't want to be an old, chain-smoking broad. |

Keep it going, Mel! Good luck, I know it's tough to quit. Third time is a charm, remember! Or fourth, or tenth, whatever it is-it really does NOT matter, so long as you quit!
Just never give up trying, it is so worth it, and you WILL successfully quit. Just don't say you are TRYING to quit, or 'giving up' smoking- you are NOT going to miss it- you are becoming a non-smoker, a healthier, prettier, much better smelling YOU....yay! Mogs, you keep up the good work haranguing people...just make sure you don't go too far with the insults...that can have the opposite effect, you know! ![]() Whenever I get tempted to smoke again, I take a big whiff of the stinky guys at work who smoke, and check out their icky yellow teeth.....blech! That is what happens to you when you are 50-plus and still smoking a pack a day.
