It's funny how 65 degrees in October warrants sweatshirts and jeans, but 65 degrees in March calls for shorts and flip flops.
![]() They're calling for mid-70's today here in Minnesota. I was shoveling heavy snow and scraping ice from my driveway 10 days ago. We had almost two feet of snow on the ground at this time last year. This is the main reason I love living up here. We don't have stereotypical weather except that the only thing you can expect is the unexpected. And hello Randomonia! Congrats to Dizz again! What a big boy!! |

I am with you on that. What a wonderful winter this has been. I have also noticed the funny thing about people's attire. ![]() We still have a few scraps of snow around but it is mostly all gone....spring is in the air! I went for a walk with my niece and her adorable new Cocker Spaniel puppy last night, we humans were in rubber boots, we had mucho fun splashing through the puddles! |

![]() ![]() The only snow left around here are the big dirty piles of snow from the snow plows and some really grey melty icebergs/sheets floating around the lakes. I saw some grass shooting up already in some spots in our lawn yesterday. Trees will probably start budding this weekend... |

I do agree with that....I like the warmer temps but more snow would have been nice....I think we had under a foot all winter. I felt sorry for the snowmobilers and sledders and skiers too....also my poor perennials with no snow cover. We need lots of rain this spring or the farmers will be unhappy in some areas. |

![]() Our local rivers are quite low as well. It's good news for the Red River folks as they likely won't see their annual flooding. But unless we get some major rainfall we're going to be in a drought by June... |
